At a construction fair, the stand is your first product demonstration
Exhibiting at Batimat 2026 means being judged by builders, architects and specifiers who spend their lives looking at how things are put together. A badly resolved junction on your stand is not a detail to this audience: it is a statement about how you build. That is uncomfortable, and it is also the opportunity.
What Batimat is and when the 2026 edition opens
Batimat is the international construction trade fair and part of the Mondial du Bâtiment, held together with Interclima and Idéobain. The next edition runs from 28 September to 1 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It is multi-specialist by design, covering structure, joinery and metalwork, electrical, eco-friendly solutions, technology, solar energy and site equipment. Its audience is decision-makers, specifiers and the people who actually execute the work, which means the same stand has to satisfy a technical question and a commercial one within a couple of minutes. Because it runs alongside Interclima and Idéobain, visitors often arrive having already walked two other shows, which is a good argument for somewhere to sit down on your stand rather than one more display to walk past.
Turnkey service for your Batimat stand
The project is not passed around. The same team designs it, builds it in our joinery and installs it at Porte de Versailles, and files the floor loading, power and rigging requests that a construction stand almost always needs. If the hall cannot support what you want to bring, you hear it from us early enough to do something about it.
Design
Collaborative briefing, a strategy built around your visitor and a photorealistic 3D render of your space.
Manufacturing
In-house joinery and manufacturing with premium, high-quality and sustainable materials at our Barcelona workshop.
Build & install
Transport and coordination to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, on-site build and dismantling by our own crew, and dedicated support throughout the show.
Projects that back every stand we build
Twenty years of custom stand design across Europe with our own joinery, which at a construction fair is the shortest possible argument for how we work.
What your Batimat stand needs, depending on what you manufacture
Four kinds of Batimat exhibitor, four different things the structure has to prove.
Structural and heavy materials
Your product is measured in tonnes. We confirm floor loading and access with the venue before the design is fixed, and use the material itself in the build where we can, since a real wall says more than a photograph of one.
Joinery, facades and openings
These are judged by how they operate. We install working samples at full size, mounted so a visitor can open, close and feel the mechanism instead of looking at a section drawing.
Tools and site equipment
Your product needs to be picked up. We build robust display at working height with secure fixing, because a tools stand takes more physical handling in four days than most stands take in a year.
Technology, solar and building services
Your value is in performance data. We give you demonstration positions and a meeting table, because this is a specification conversation that does not happen standing in the middle of an aisle.
Two years between editions, one structure
Batimat is biennial, and its exhibitors tend to also attend national construction fairs in between. We build modular, reusable structures that are stored and refurbished in our facility and reconfigured for different plot sizes, so the investment is spread across several shows rather than written off after four days. For a construction manufacturer the argument tends to land easily: it is the same logic of durable materials and repairable assemblies that you are selling on the stand itself.
Frequently asked questions about Batimat stands
What construction manufacturers ask us before booking their space at Porte de Versailles.
When does Batimat 2026 take place?
Batimat 2026 runs from 28 September to 1 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It is biennial and forms part of the Mondial du Bâtiment together with Interclima and Idéobain.
Can the stand support heavy construction materials?
That depends on the hall and it is checked first. We confirm the permitted load per square metre with the venue for your specific product and, if the plot will not take it, we say so while the plot can still be changed.
Can we show a working facade or window system?
Yes, and it is the most persuasive thing you can do here. We build the supporting structure for full-size operable samples, engineered for the real weight so a visitor can operate them repeatedly across four days.
Can you use our own materials in the stand?
Yes, and we encourage it. Having our own joinery means we can work with your product as a building material, which turns the stand itself into the sample rather than a backdrop for one.
What does your Batimat stand design and build service include?
A turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing in our own workshop, transport to Paris, build, dismantling and support during the four days of the fair.
How far in advance should we start for Batimat?
For a stand with heavy material, six months is comfortable and four is tight. The venue approvals for loading and rigging are the long pole, not the manufacturing, and they cannot be accelerated.
Batimat 2026 takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles
Batimat occupies Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 28 September to 1 October 2026, alongside the other Mondial du Bâtiment shows. We build in Barcelona and install in Paris with our own crew.
Exhibition stand design and build in Paris
Porte de Versailles sits inside the city, which makes access and delivery windows far tighter than at an out-of-town venue: lorry sizes, timings and unloading are all controlled. We plan the transport around those restrictions and bring a stand that assembles rather than one that has to be built.
Contemporanea Eventi builds your Batimat stand
You have the dates and a product that will be inspected by people who build for a living. Tell us what you are bringing to Batimat 2026, including the weight of the heaviest item, and we will tell you what the plot can take before we draw anything.
