Exhibiting at SiGMA Malta has one constraint that shapes everything: every panel, every fixing and every bottle has to cross water to get there. There is no driving back for a forgotten bracket. A stand for Malta has to be designed to be complete when it is loaded, which sounds obvious and is exactly what most builds get wrong.
What SiGMA Malta is and when the 2027 edition opens
SiGMA Malta, running as SiGMA Euro-Med, is the Maltese edition of the iGaming summit series and takes place at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre, the recently refurbished venue in Ta’ Qali. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 3 to 5 May 2027. Malta remains one of the regulatory and operational centres of European online gaming, so the delegate mix is heavy on operators, licensing, compliance and payments, and the event has a more concentrated, business-first character than the very large mainland summits. SiGMA runs several events under related names, so confirm which one you are booking. The compact scale is an advantage if you use it: at the MFCC a well-placed stand is seen by most of the delegates over three days, which is not true of a nine-hall venue.

Because everything has to be freighted to an island, a disposable build is doubly wasteful: you pay to ship it out and to dispose of it. We build modular, reusable structures that pack efficiently into fewer units, return to our warehouse and are reconfigured for the other summits on your calendar, which changes the freight bill as much as the build cost.

When does SiGMA Malta 2027 take place?

How do you get a stand to Malta?
By sea freight, on a schedule fixed well before the fair. We work backwards from the shipping date, complete and check the stand in the workshop, and pack it so every component is labelled, because nothing can be added once the container has gone.
What happens if something is damaged in transit?
We plan for it rather than hope. We ship spare panels, spare fixings and repair materials with the stand and travel with our own crew and tools, so a damaged element is repaired on the island instead of leaving a gap in the build.
Can you build a bar and private meeting rooms?
Yes. We plan water, waste and refrigeration for the bar and place the acoustically separated rooms away from it, which at a compact venue like the MFCC has to be designed in rather than adjusted on site.
What does your SiGMA Malta stand design and build service include?
A turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing in our own workshop, sea freight, installation at the MFCC, dismantling and support during the three days.
Is it cheaper to build locally in Malta?
Not usually, once you account for what local capacity is available during summit week. Shipping a modular structure you already own and reusing it across events is normally the lower cost over two or three editions, and the quality is one you have already signed off.
