What is SICUR and when does it take place
SICUR is the International Security Exhibition organised by IFEMA MADRID, the meeting point for every player in the Spanish security market. It is a biennial trade fair: the last edition ran from 24 to 27 February 2026 at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre, and the next one is expected in 2028, with dates still to be confirmed by the organiser.
The show covers integrated security through four main areas (physical security, cybersecurity, fire safety and emergencies, and occupational safety) and brings together manufacturers, integrators, distributors and public sector bodies. Because it only comes round every two years, the stand you exhibit with has to perform across a full edition and still hold up for the next one.

Stands for the four areas of SICUR
SICUR is not one homogeneous show. Each area exhibits in a different way, and the stand has to be designed for it.

Physical security
Access control, video surveillance and intrusion systems need live product demonstrations: demo points with power and data, hard-wearing furniture and a layout that does not jam when a group gathers around a demo.

Cybersecurity
There is no physical product to show, so the stand leans on screens and private meeting rooms. We build enclosed areas for confidential conversations while keeping an open frontage to the aisle.

Fire safety and emergencies
Bulky, heavy equipment such as extinguishing systems, detection gear, vehicles or rescue kit drives the structure. We calculate loads, access and build sequence so everything gets in and on display without improvising on site.

Occupational safety
PPE, technical footwear and fall protection work best with bespoke display units and hands-on areas where visitors can touch the product. We build the display into the joinery instead of adding loose furniture.
A reusable stand between SICUR editions
Because SICUR runs every two years, a stand built for a single edition is money thrown away the moment it is dismantled. We design reusable, demountable structures whose parts are stored and recombined for the next edition or for other security trade fairs.
We work with FSC and PEFC certified timber, aluminium and recyclable materials, and we store the structural elements at our facilities between shows. For the following edition the graphics and layout are refreshed, and the bulk of the investment is already amortised.

When is the next edition of SICUR?
SICUR is a biennial trade fair organised by IFEMA MADRID. The last edition ran from 24 to 27 February 2026 and the next one is expected in 2028, with dates still to be confirmed by the organiser. We recommend starting the stand design six to eight months ahead to reach the build date comfortably.
What does your SICUR stand design and build service include?

Can you design a stand for live product demonstrations?
Yes. It is one of the particularities of SICUR: many exhibitors show working products, from access control to extinguishing equipment. We design demonstration points with the power and data connections required, and plan circulation so a group can stop without blocking the aisle.
Do you build stands for cybersecurity companies that need private meetings?
Yes. In cybersecurity the stand is won in the conversation, not in the product on display. We integrate enclosed meeting rooms or semi-private areas within the stand, with reasonable visual and acoustic separation, while keeping an open frontage to the aisle to keep attracting visitors.
How long does it take to have a SICUR stand ready?
Six to eight weeks covers the full process for a custom stand: briefing, design and 3D render, sign-off, manufacturing and installation. Larger projects or stands with special technical features need more room, and in any case we recommend starting six to eight months ahead.
Can you install at SICUR even though your workshop is in Barcelona?
Yes. We manufacture at our Barcelona workshop and travel to IFEMA Madrid with our own build crew, as we regularly do for shows at the Madrid venue. Transport and coordination with IFEMA are part of the turnkey service, so you do not need to hire a third party on site.
