What is MATELEC and when does it take place
MATELEC is the trade fair for the electrical and electronics industry organised by IFEMA MADRID. The next edition runs from 24 to 26 November 2026 at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre.
An important detail when planning your space: MATELEC is held together with GENERA under the International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week, backed by IDAE. The two shows share dates and venue, which means a bigger and broader audience walking past your stand, and also more competition for attention. Hundreds of references, all small. We build sample boards and modular display walls into the joinery so the range reads clearly and the visitor can handle the product without dismantling your display.

Lighting manufacturers
A lighting stand is judged by its own light. We design the ambient level of the stand around your fittings, usually darker than average, so your product is the brightest thing in the space instead of competing with the hall.

Automation, control and software
If your value is in the system rather than the box, the stand needs working demo stations with screens, PLCs and enough power and data points, plus a quieter corner for a long technical explanation.
A reusable stand, edition after edition
MATELEC is a recurring date and most manufacturers exhibit consistently. We design a modular, reusable stand that keeps your brand identity and cuts the cost of each edition, while letting you reconfigure the layout as your product range evolves.
We store the structural elements at our facilities between editions and refresh graphics and layout for the next one, working with FSC and PEFC certified timber, aluminium and recyclable materials.

When does MATELEC 2026 take place?
MATELEC 2026 runs from 24 to 26 November 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, held together with GENERA as part of the International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week. With the show only months away, build capacity is limited, so it is worth closing the stand design as soon as possible.
Is MATELEC the same event as GENERA?
They are two separate trade fairs held at the same time and venue. MATELEC covers the electrical and electronics industry; GENERA covers energy, environment and renewables. Sharing dates brings more visitors past your stand, and also more exhibitors competing for their attention, which is worth designing for.
Can you display heavy switchgear or enclosures?
Yes. We check floor loading and access routes with the venue before closing the design, and plan how the units are positioned so visitors can see inside them, with open doors or cut-away sections and lighting that shows the build quality.
Can you provide power for live demonstrations?
Yes. We size the electrical supply and the number of points your equipment needs, request them from IFEMA and route the cabling through the structure so nothing is trailing across the stand. Send us the equipment list and its consumption and we plan from there.
What does your MATELEC stand design and build service include?
It is a turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing at our own workshop, transport to IFEMA Madrid, build and dismantling on site, and support during the show. We also handle the venue’s technical documentation and the electrical and data connections.
Can you install at IFEMA even though your workshop is in Barcelona?
Yes. We manufacture at our Barcelona workshop and travel to IFEMA Madrid with our own build crew, as we regularly do for shows at the Madrid venue. Transport and coordination with IFEMA are part of the turnkey service.
