What KEY is and when the 2027 edition opens
KEY, The Energy Transition Expo, is an international event covering the whole energy transition, held at the Rimini Expo Centre. The 2027 edition runs from 10 to 12 March 2027 and is organised into seven thematic shows: SEC for solar, WEM for wind in the Mediterranean, KSE for storage, HYPE for hydrogen, EFFI for energy efficiency, eME for eMobility and Sustainable City. The 2027 edition uses a redesigned floor plan intended to connect those sectors better, which is good for cross-traffic and bad for anyone whose stand relies on being found by category alone. Its audience is installers, EPCs, utilities and public buyers, all of them technical. Three days is short for an event this broad, so the visitors who matter to you have planned their route in advance and will not wander far off it.

Solar module and inverter manufacturers
The most crowded hall of the event. We use a single strong vertical element and a restrained palette so the stand is identifiable from the end of the aisle, instead of competing with thirty neighbours using the same blue.
Storage and battery systems
Heavy units with real electrical requirements. We confirm floor loading and power with the venue in advance and build so a cabinet can be opened and its internals explained.
Hydrogen and new technologies
Your product is unfamiliar even to a technical visitor. We build explanatory sequences and scenario stations, because the first job is teaching the process and only then selling your part of it.
eMobility and charging infrastructure
Units need to be approached and used. We position chargers at real installed heights with clearance for someone to handle the cable, since that is how an installer assesses one.
A structure that covers the whole energy calendar
KEY is annual and most of its exhibitors also attend solar and mobility fairs elsewhere in the year. We build modular, reusable structures that are stored, inspected and reconfigured to different plot sizes, so a single build serves Rimini and the rest of your calendar, with only graphics and product selection changing between them.

Usually yes. We size the electrical supply and the number of circuits for your equipment and submit the request with the design, which is what makes a working demonstration possible rather than a hopeful one.

We check before designing. The permitted floor load and access route are confirmed with the venue for your specific units, and you hear early if the plot will not take them.
How do we stand out in the solar hall?
By subtraction rather than addition. A single tall element and a restrained palette reads from a distance, while a stand covered in messages reads as noise in a hall where everyone is shouting.
What does your KEY stand design and build service include?

Can the same stand be used at other energy fairs?
Yes, and given how many there are in the calendar it is usually the right call. The structure is designed to reconfigure to different plot shapes, so it travels rather than being rebuilt for each event.
