At ITB you are not exhibiting a product, you are exhibiting a place

Exhibiting at ITB Berlin 2027 means selling something the visitor cannot touch: a destination, a route, a stay. The stand has to do the work that a sample would do anywhere else, and it usually has to host a delegation of partners under one roof without any of them disappearing into the background.

What ITB Berlin is and when the 2027 edition opens

ITB Berlin is the leading trade show for the global travel and tourism industry and has been running since 1966. The 2027 edition takes place from 16 to 18 March 2027 at Messe Berlin, and it is trade-only, so everyone walking past your stand is there to do business. It covers destinations alongside specialised segments: adventure tourism, business travel and MICE, luxury and medical tourism, LGBTQ+ travel and travel technology. The exhibitor registration deadline falls in early September of the preceding year, so the stand decision arrives earlier than most people expect.

Turnkey service for your ITB Berlin stand

One team runs the project from the first sketch to the empty plot. You explain the destination once and keep the same contact through design, workshop, transport and installation in Berlin. If your pavilion involves co-exhibitors, that person also becomes the one who chases each of them for logos, artwork and furniture lists, which is usually the part that delays a national stand.

Projects that back every stand we build

Two decades of custom stand design in Europe, including pavilions that have to house a dozen co-exhibitors and still read as one coherent brand from the aisle.

What your ITB stand needs, depending on what you are selling

Four kinds of ITB exhibitor, four different problems to solve on the plan.

01

Tourism boards and national pavilions

You are hosting your own industry. We design a shared structure with individual identity: co-exhibitor counters that belong to the pavilion visually but still let each company be found, and a central meeting area everyone can use.

02

Hotel groups and resorts

What you sell is an experience, so the stand has to be a fragment of it. We use real materials and lighting from your properties rather than photographs of them, because a visitor who sits down on your actual furniture remembers the property.

03

Travel technology and distribution

Your product is a screen and a conversation. We build demo positions with private seating, keeping the software demonstration out of the traffic flow so a serious prospect is not standing in a corridor.

04

Tour operators and DMCs

Your show is a diary of scheduled meetings. We maximise the number of usable tables per square metre, with enough separation that two negotiations can run side by side without either party lowering their voice.

One structure, several editions in Berlin

ITB is an annual fixture and destinations rarely change their positioning from one year to the next. We build modular, reusable stands that are stored between editions and reassembled with new graphics, which for a tourism board on public funding is usually the difference between building well once and building cheaply every year. The structure is stored in our warehouse between editions, inspected after each show and repaired where it needs it, so what arrives in Berlin the second year does not look like a stand on its second outing.

Frequently asked questions about ITB Berlin stands

What tourism boards, operators and travel technology companies ask us before booking space at Messe Berlin.

When does ITB Berlin 2027 take place?

ITB Berlin 2027 runs from 16 to 18 March 2027 at Messe Berlin. It is a trade-only event, and exhibitor registration for each edition closes around the start of September the year before.

Can you build a pavilion for several co-exhibitors?

Yes, it is one of the most common briefs at ITB. We design a host structure with individual modules so each partner has an identifiable counter and storage, while the pavilion still reads as a single destination from the aisle.

Can the stand include a kitchen or tasting point?

Yes. Many destinations present gastronomy, so we plan water, waste and extraction with Messe Berlin in advance and integrate the serving point without it dominating the whole stand.

How early do we need to start?

Earlier than for most shows. With registration closing in September, we recommend starting the design six to eight months out if the stand is large or involves co-exhibitors, because the internal approvals on a public tender take longer than the build itself.

What does your ITB stand design and build service include?

A turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing in our own workshop, transport to Berlin, build and dismantling, and support during the three days. What you approve in the render is what gets built.

Can you build in Berlin from a workshop in Barcelona?

Yes. Germany is one of our regular destinations and the stand travels by road pre-assembled and labelled, so the time on site goes into finishing rather than into working out how the pieces fit.

ITB Berlin 2027 takes place at Messe Berlin

ITB gathers the international travel industry at Messe Berlin from 16 to 18 March 2027. We manufacture in our own Barcelona workshop and install in Berlin with our own crew: production, transport, build and dismantling.

Exhibition stand design and build in Berlin

Messe Berlin is one of the largest exhibition grounds in Europe and ITB occupies a big part of it, which means build access is scheduled hall by hall. Arriving with a stand that has already been assembled once in our workshop is what keeps a tight slot from becoming a problem.
