Brands that trust us as their stand builder
What your ICE Barcelona stand needs depending on operator, technology provider or manufacturer
ICE brings together land-based, online, lottery and betting, with the regulators, and in 2027 it opens Hall 7 for technology, innovation and fintech. Providers need meetings at the stand, and manufacturers need machines working.
Operators
Closed meeting rooms and a lounge to receive providers, with a sober image that conveys solvency.
Technology providers
Demo stations for platforms and systems, with a big screen and stable connection, and rooms to close integrations.
Machine manufacturers
One power socket per machine and room around it so visitors can try it without crowding.
Payments and fintech
A discreet stand, with private rooms and few screens, to talk contracts and compliance.
ICE Barcelona 2027 stand design guide for space-only stands at Fira Gran Via
The ICE 2027 stand design guide is public and sets heights, plans and inspection deadlines. These are the four figures that shape the stand design most.
See all 9 rules, with their source
| Plan deadlines | Sent to the inspection agency appointed by the organiser: full double deck before 2 October 2026, complex space-only before 16 October and non-complex before 6 November. source |
|---|---|
| Documentation | Inspection form, plan and elevation drawings with heights and rigging, 3D views of the open sides, risk assessment, method statement, waste plan and a list of materials compliant with the Technical Building Code. source |
| Height | A single-storey stand may not exceed 4 m, including furniture, walls, lighting, signage and platforms. With the organiser’s approval it may reach 6 m. There is no overnight work. source |
| Double deck | It needs the organiser’s approval, which reviews each request first come, first served. Only island plots are considered. Static calculations and stair and handrail drawings must be submitted. source |
| Rigging | Hung elements sit at least 4 m from the floor to their underside. Branded elements hung from the ceiling count as sponsorship at ICE. Rigging details and an intention form must be submitted. source |
| Access timetable | Each stand has its own staggered and compulsory build and dismantle timetable. Halls open from 08:00 to 22:00 and nobody may start before their arrival time. source |
| Insurance | Exhibitor and contractor must hold civil liability insurance of at least 2 million euros. source |
| Floor and platforms | Only platform or carpet, which the exhibitor removes at the end. A platform may not exceed 18 cm and its ramp stays inside the stand. Paint, glue and anchors on the floor are not allowed. source |
| Noise | Demonstrations may not exceed the background level by more than 3 dB and never 60 dB. If exceeded, Fira asks to turn the volume down. source |

Designing an ICE Barcelona stand with business rooms, demos and plans ready in time
The plans of a complex stand are due before 16 October and each stand has its own access timetable. So we settle the rooms, the demos and the build-up from the first sketch.
Rooms to do business
One or more insulated rooms with a table, because deals on distribution and integration are closed at ICE.
Demos people understand
Machines or platforms with power, connection and seats planned from the drawing, with no visible cables.
Height under control
A single-storey stand cannot exceed 4 m, signage included, so the brand is solved within that height.
Build-up on your timetable
We fabricate the stand in the workshop to finish it within the allocated timetable, with no night work in the hall.

What weighs on the budget of an ICE Barcelona stand with rooms and a double deck
We do not give figures without seeing your plot: the cost of an ICE stand depends on the metres, the rooms and whether you add a second floor. These are the six factors.
Double deck
It needs approval, static calculations and stair and handrail drawings, as well as more structure.
Meeting rooms
Every insulated room adds structure and fabrication, and reduces the open area of the stand.
Machines and demos
Each machine adds load, a socket and a cable route, and the board is sized for the whole load.
Rigging
Hanging elements needs a project, calculation and approval, and if branded it counts as sponsorship.
Access timetable
A staggered timetable with no overnight work means prefabricating more in the workshop.
Plans and inspection
The documentation the plan inspection asks for is prepared together with the design.

Frequently asked questions from ICE Barcelona exhibitors about their stand
The questions that come up most when preparing a space-only stand at Fira Gran Via, answered with the ICE 2027 design guide, so dates and deadlines are those of that edition.
When is ICE Barcelona 2027?
On 18-20 January 2027 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, in Halls 1 to 7, per the organiser.
What are the figures of ICE Barcelona?
The ICE Barcelona website cites 65,000 attendees, 179 countries represented and over 300 verified regulators.
How much does a ICE Barcelona stand cost?
It depends on the plot, the rooms and the second floor, so we give no figure without the plan. To orient yourself on the items, see how to calculate a trade show stand budget.
What is the maximum height?
A single-storey stand may not exceed 4 m, and up to 6 m with the organiser’s approval. It includes furniture, walls, lighting, signage and platforms.
Can I build a two-floor stand?
Yes, with the organiser approval and only on island plots. The full plans were due before 2 October 2026.
When must the plans be submitted?
Before 16 October if complex and 6 November if not. To avoid rushing, review the steps to organise a trade show in advance.
Installing your ICE Barcelona stand at Fira Gran Via on an assigned timetable
We build in our Barcelona workshop and take the stand to Fira Gran Via. We install and dismantle it ourselves, within the organiser's hours.
