Textiles are bought with the hands, so the stand has to let people touch

Exhibiting at Heimtextil 2027 means presenting a material that only convinces when someone rubs it between their fingers. Everything else follows from that: how the collection hangs, how it is lit, and whether a buyer can reach a fabric without asking your team to unfold it. A textile stand that keeps the product behind glass is a textile stand that does not sell.

What Heimtextil is and when the 2027 edition opens

Heimtextil is the reference international trade fair for home and contract textiles, and the 2027 edition takes place from 12 to 15 January 2027 at Messe Frankfurt. It covers home and contract textiles, textile design, carpets and rugs, fibres and yarns, interior textiles, the sleep and mattress segment and global sourcing. It opens the year for the sector, which means buyers are setting their entire season on what they see in those four days, and a range that reads badly in January is a range that carries a weak order book for the rest of the year. Because it is the first big date in the calendar, the collection is often being finished while the stand is already in production, and that has to be planned for rather than improvised.

Turnkey service for your Heimtextil stand

One team carries the project from the first sketch to the last roll packed away. You brief once and keep a single contact across design, workshop, transport and installation in Frankfurt, including the venue paperwork and the rigging requests, which at Messe Frankfurt run on their own separate deadlines.

Projects that back every stand we build

Twenty years of custom stand design in Europe, with plenty of experience in the specific problem textiles pose: hanging weight, drape, and lighting that shows a colour honestly instead of flattering it.

What your Heimtextil stand needs, depending on what you weave

Four ways of exhibiting textile, four very different structures behind the fabric.

01

Home textile collections

Volume of references is the challenge. We build hanging systems with real drape and enough clearance that a full width falls properly, so the buyer sees the fabric as it will behave in a home rather than as a flat swatch on a board.

02

Contract and hospitality fabrics

Here the conversation is technical: fire ratings, rub counts, maintenance. We provide a working table with sample books and closed storage for the full range, because this specifier is going to sit down for half an hour, not walk past.

03

Carpets and rugs

Heavy, awkward and best seen from above. We calculate floor loading and hanging points from the start, and design a layout that lets someone walk on a rug, which is the only way anyone judges one.

04

Fibres, yarns and suppliers

Your product is raw material and your buyer is a manufacturer. We keep the stand technical and uncluttered, with sample stations organised by composition and space for the sort of long negotiation that ends in an annual contract.

A stand that comes back every January

Heimtextil is annual and your collection changes every year while your positioning does not. We build modular, reusable structures: the hanging system, the walls and the storage return to the workshop, get inspected and refinished, and come back next January with the new season. In a sector where the product is what changes, paying twice for the same shell makes very little sense.

Frequently asked questions about Heimtextil stands

What textile companies ask us most before committing to space at Messe Frankfurt.

When does Heimtextil 2027 take place?

Heimtextil 2027 runs from 12 to 15 January 2027 at Messe Frankfurt. It is annual and it opens the textile calendar, so it falls immediately after the Christmas break.

How do you light fabric without distorting the colour?

With the right colour temperature and a high colour rendering index, chosen for your palette rather than by default. We test the lighting against your actual samples in the workshop, because a warm white that flatters a beige can ruin a cold grey.

Can you hang heavy fabric and rugs safely?

Yes. We calculate the structure for the real weight of the hanging system and confirm rigging limits with Messe Frankfurt before closing the design, which matters more with carpets than with almost anything else.

Our collection is not finished yet. Is that a problem?

It is normal in January and we plan for it. The structure and finishes are decided early and the graphics and sample layout stay open until the last possible date, so a late collection does not delay manufacturing.

What does your Heimtextil stand design and build service include?

A turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing in our own workshop, transport to Frankfurt, build and dismantling, and support through the four days of the fair.

Do you ship the fabric with the stand or do we bring it ourselves?

Either way works, but it should be agreed early. We can carry your collection with the stand from our Barcelona workshop, or receive it in Frankfurt and hang it during the build. What we do not recommend is a separate delivery arriving after the build window closes, because at that point the hall is locked and the goods sit in a depot until the morning of the opening.

Heimtextil 2027 takes place at Messe Frankfurt

Heimtextil brings the international textile trade to Messe Frankfurt from 12 to 15 January 2027. We manufacture in our own Barcelona workshop and install in Frankfurt with our own crew: production, transport, build and dismantling.

Exhibition stand design and build in Frankfurt

Heimtextil falls in the second week of January, which means the stand is built while most of Europe is only just back at work. We plan production before the Christmas shutdown and hold the stand finished in the workshop, so the holiday period never eats into your build schedule.

You have the dates and the collection is taking shape. What decides the four days is whether the fabric can be reached, felt and seen in a true light. Tell us how many references you are bringing to Heimtextil 2027 and we will tell you what actually fits.
