GENERA is the International Energy and Environment Trade Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, focused on renewables, energy efficiency, electrification and decarbonisation. The next edition takes place at IFEMA Madrid from 24 to 26 November 2026.
One thing worth knowing before you plan your space: GENERA is now held together with MATELEC, under the umbrella of the International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week, with the backing of IDAE. That means your stand shares the venue with the electrical and electronics industry, and the visitor flow is bigger and more mixed than at a standalone energy show. Solar PV and modules
Panels are large, heavy and best shown at an angle. We build support frames and inclined displays that hold real modules safely, and light them so the cell finish and the frame quality can actually be judged up close.

Storage, inverters and charging
Battery cabinets and chargers are heavy floor-standing units. We calculate floor loads and access routes and provide the power points needed to show equipment powered up rather than as a dead shell.

Engineering, EPC and consultancy
If you sell projects rather than products, the stand is a meeting space. We prioritise tables, semi-private areas and large-format screens for showing plants and case studies, with acoustic comfort so conversations work.

Energy efficiency and electrification
Efficiency and electrification equipment is bulky and technical. We calculate floor loads and power for the units you bring, and we set aside a technical table where an installer or an engineering firm can go through consumption figures.
A reusable stand, edition after edition
GENERA is an annual date and most exhibitors return. We design your GENERA stand to be reused, keeping the identity intact and reducing what each edition costs.
In this sector it carries extra weight: a reusable structure built from FSC and PEFC certified timber, aluminium and recyclable materials is consistent with what you are selling on the stand. We store the structural elements at our facilities and refresh graphics and layout for the next edition.

When does GENERA 2026 take place?
GENERA 2026 runs from 24 to 26 November 2026 at IFEMA MADRID, held together with MATELEC as part of the International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week. With the show only months away, build slots are limited: it is worth signing off the design as soon as possible.
Is GENERA the same event as MATELEC?
They are two different fairs that share dates and venue. GENERA covers energy and environment, renewables and efficiency; MATELEC covers the electrical and electronics industry. Sharing dates means more footfall, but also that your stand competes for attention with a much wider set of exhibitors, which is worth factoring into the design.
Can you display solar panels or battery cabinets on the stand?
Yes. We build support frames for modules at the right angle and calculate floor loads and access routes for heavy floor-standing equipment such as inverters, storage cabinets or chargers. We also size the power supply so the equipment can be shown running.
What does your GENERA stand design and build service include?
A turnkey service for GENERA: design and 3D render, structural calculation, manufacturing in our own workshop, transport to IFEMA Madrid, build, dismantling and support during the show. The IFEMA Madrid paperwork and the power order are ours to handle for GENERA.
Can the GENERA structure be stored and rebuilt?
Yes, and in this sector it is also a coherent message. We build demountable structures in certified timber and aluminium, store the parts between editions and refresh graphics and layout the following year, reusing the bulk of the investment.
How does a Barcelona workshop handle the GENERA build at IFEMA Madrid?
Yes. Manufacturing in Barcelona and installing at IFEMA Madrid is our normal way of working, GENERA included. Moving the GENERA stand and clearing it with IFEMA Madrid are ours to solve, not yours.
