FITUR brings together public bodies, hotels, agencies, tour operators and travel technology. Professional visitors come from Wednesday to Friday and the weekend opens to the public, so the stand works two shifts.

The FITUR 2027 exhibitor guide is public and sets build dates, heights, closures and second floors. These are the four figures that shape the design most.

Designing your FITUR stand around IFEMA’s regulations
Free-design build-up starts on 13 January with fixed hours and the project must be in the Zona Expo before 13 December. That is why we settle it in the first sketch.
A prefabricated stand
Build-up has fixed hours. We build in Barcelona; in Madrid it is only assembled.
A front that is not a wall
Solid closures cannot exceed 50% of each frontage. Open fronts, glass and furniture that closes without blocking.
Brand up high
Height along the perimeter is limited, but the brand can hang higher if set back 1 m.
Second floor with paperwork
With its own maximum height and the structure documentation at build-up. We prepare it from the project.

How each decision weighs on the budget of a FITUR stand
We do not give figures without seeing your plot: the cost of a FITUR stand depends on the metres, the second floor and the meeting rooms. These are the six factors.
Second floor
It needs a heavier structure, the structure documentation at build-up and set-back area that cannot be used.
Rigging
Hanging the brand goes through a request to IFEMA with a deadline.
Set-backs
Raising decoration or closing more frontage forces set-backs and changes the interior layout.
Meeting rooms
Every room adds structure and insulation, and must respect the frontage closure limit.
Build-up in a short window
Build-up hours are fixed. A stand built in advance needs fewer hours in the hall.
Reusing the stand
A modular design spreads the cost across editions if you return to FITUR or go to another show.

When is FITUR 2027?
20-24 January 2027 at IFEMA Madrid. It opens Wednesday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 20:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 18:00.
Can I build my own stand?
Yes. IFEMA offers turnkey stands and also space-only with free design, where the exhibitor commissions their own stand. That is where we work.
How much does a stand for FITUR cost?
It depends on the plot, the second floor and the meeting rooms, so we give no figure without seeing the plan. To get oriented on the line items, see how to calculate the budget for a trade-fair stand.
Can I build a two-storey stand?
Yes, up to 7 m in halls, with the upper floor set back 1 m. Not in the connection areas or on the entrance sides of Halls 9 and 10.
Can I close my stand with walls?
Up to 50% of each aisle frontage; to close more, the wall must be set back 3 m and not exceed 80% of the frontage.
When does build-up start and what do I need?
From 13 January in Halls 1 to 10. Hard hat, vest and safety footwear, and the risk prevention protocol sent first. If it is your first show, review the steps to organise a trade fair in advance.
