What is Expoóptica and when does it take place
Expoóptica is the optics, optometry and audiology trade fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, presented as a professional ecosystem connecting optics, audiology and technology. The next edition, Expoóptica + Audio 2028, runs from 23 to 25 April 2028 at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre.
It is a biennial show with focused, high-quality attendance: around 8,300 visitors, 130 direct exhibitors, 250+ brands and 10 countries represented. The audience is opticians, optometrists, audiologists, chain buyers and purchasing groups, so footfall matters less than who walks in: a small stand that works can outperform a large one that does not.

Mirrors at every display area
Nobody buys a frame without seeing themselves in it. We place mirrors at the right height and angle next to every display area, lit so the reflection is flattering rather than clinical. It sounds obvious and it is the detail most stands get wrong.

Lighting with accurate colour rendering
Acetate, metal finishes and lens tints change completely under bad light. We specify lighting with proper colour rendering so what the buyer sees on your stand is what arrives at their shop.

Display capacity without clutter
You may need to show hundreds of references in a few square metres. We design modular display walls and trays that hold a lot of product while keeping the collection readable, with room to restock and to reorganise mid-show.

Acoustically isolated booth for audiology
If you exhibit hearing technology you cannot demo it in the middle of the aisle. We build acoustically isolated booths within the stand, so audiometric demonstrations are actually possible on a noisy exhibition floor.
A reusable stand between Expoóptica editions
Because Expoóptica runs every two years, a stand built for a single edition is money thrown away the moment it is dismantled. We design reusable, demountable structures whose parts are stored and recombined for the next edition or for other optics and healthcare fairs.
In this sector the display system is the valuable part: once the modular display walls and trays are right for your collection, they carry over and only the graphics and the product change. For Expoóptica we work with FSC and PEFC certified timber, aluminium and recyclable materials.

When does Expoóptica 2028 take place?
Expoóptica + Audio 2028 runs from 23 to 25 April 2028 at IFEMA MADRID. It is a biennial show, so each edition concentrates two years of collections and product launches. Six to eight months ahead of Expoóptica is a comfortable start; less than four gets tight.
Can you build display systems for hundreds of frames?
Yes. We design modular display walls and trays built into the joinery, sized for your actual collection, so you can show a high number of references without the stand looking cluttered. We also plan restocking and space to reorganise the display during the show.
Do you include mirrors and proper lighting?
Always, and they are two of the most important decisions on an optics stand. We position mirrors at the right height next to each display and specify lighting with good colour rendering, so acetates, metal finishes and lens tints look on the stand exactly as they will in the shop.
Can you build a soundproof booth for audiology demos?
Yes. For hearing technology we build acoustically isolated booths inside the stand, so you can run audiometric demonstrations despite the ambient noise of the hall. We plan their position and construction so they do not close off the stand frontage.
What does your Expoóptica stand design and build service include?
A turnkey service for Expoóptica: design and 3D render, manufacturing in our own workshop, transport to IFEMA Madrid, build, dismantling and support during the show. We also file the technical documentation for IFEMA Madrid and order the electrical connections.
Your joinery is in Barcelona. Can you still install Expoóptica at IFEMA Madrid?
Yes. The Expoóptica stand is made here and installed by our own installers at IFEMA Madrid, not by a local subcontractor. Freight and dealing with IFEMA Madrid are part of what we take on for Expoóptica.
