Questions to settle before preparing your Expodental 2028 stand
The questions that come up most when preparing a free-design stand at IFEMA Madrid. The rules cited are those of IFEMA’s 2026 guides, until the Expodental 2028 one is out.
When is Expodental 2028?
On 22-24 March 2028 at IFEMA Madrid. The previous edition ran on 11-13 March 2026.
How often is Expodental held?
Every two years: after the 2026 edition, IFEMA calls the next one for 2028, the 19th counting the previous 18.
How much does a Expodental stand cost?
It depends on the plot, the equipment you demonstrate and the training area, so we give no figure without the plan. To orient yourself on the items, see how to calculate a trade show stand budget.
Can I build a two-floor stand?
Yes, up to 7 m in halls, with the upper floor set back 1 m. Not in the connection areas or on the sides of Halls 9 and 10.
Can I close my stand with walls?
Up to 50% of each aisle frontage. To close more, set it back 3 m and do not exceed 80% of the frontage.
When should I start designing?
With months to spare: in the 2026 guides the project is approved one month before build-up. See the steps to organise a trade show in advance.
