Stand construction rules at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL)
Before drawing we read FIL’s general regulations, which set the height, the deadlines and what may be built inside the hall. These four figures weigh most.

| Building on site | Workshop-style construction inside the hall is forbidden, as are cutting, welding and sanding machines and spray painting. The stand is assembled from parts already built. source |

With FIL’s regulations on the table, the project closes in four decisions in the first plan, so the stand arrives built and goes up without surprises.
Height
The general height needs no paperwork. If the design needs more, FIL needs the plans well ahead.
A prefabricated stand
You cannot build inside the hall. We build in Barcelona and in Lisbon it is only assembled.
The bar, ordered early
Water, drainage and power are requested from FIL on the form. We lock the bar into the plan first.
Second floor
FIL's authorisation and a set-back: you lose some floor space and gain a room above the aisle.

What drives the budget of an exhibition stand at SBC Summit

The bar and its services
A working bar needs water, drainage and power requested from the venue, plus room for a back store.
Closed rooms and soundproofing
Every private room adds structure, a door and acoustic treatment. Deciding how many you need saves budget.
Height and second floor
Going past the general height or adding a second floor needs a project, FIL's authorisation and a heavier structure.
Electrical installation
An accredited professional does it, with a board and residual-current switch, and FIL connects to its grid. Budget for it from day one.
Reusing the stand
A modular design spreads the cost across editions if you return to Lisbon or go to another show on the circuit.
Transport and dismantling
We move the stand and the crew from Barcelona and dismantle within the hours FIL sets.

What is the maximum stand height?
In general, 3 m under FIL’s regulations. For more, plans must reach FIL in advance, and a second floor needs its express authorisation.
Can the stand be built inside the hall?
No. FIL forbids cutting, welding, sanding and spray painting on site. The stand arrives built and is assembled in pieces.
How much does a stand for SBC Summit cost?

Can you build a bar with real service?
Yes. We design it with water and drainage sorted from the plan. They are requested from FIL on the registration form, so settle the bar early.
My stand is small next to the big operators. How do I stand out?
