What is HIP and when does it take place
HIP, Horeca Professional Expo, is the largest professional event for hospitality innovation held at IFEMA MADRID. The next edition runs from 1 to 3 March 2027 at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre, alongside the Hospitality 4.0 Congress.
It is an annual show bringing together organised restaurant groups, hotels, contract catering, bars and coffee shops. Kitchen equipment, food and beverage, hospitality technology, furniture and contract all exhibit side by side. Visitors are chefs, owners, operations directors and purchasing managers, and they decide based on what they see, smell and taste on your stand.

Kitchen equipment and machinery
Ovens, blast chillers and warewashing need power, water, drainage and extraction. We size the services with IFEMA and calculate loads and access routes so the machinery gets in and runs without surprises on build day.

Food and beverage
If you offer tastings you need a back-of-house, refrigeration and a bar designed to serve without bottlenecks. We separate preparation from the tasting point and keep storage within reach for restocking across the three days.

Hospitality technology
EPOS, management software and robotics sell by being shown running. We build screens and demo stations into the structure, with hidden cabling and a quieter area to sit down and go through the product.

Furniture, contract and interiors
Here the stand is the product. We build it as a styled showroom, using the same joinery and finishes you sell, so visitors can see exactly how it would look in their venue.
A reusable stand, edition after edition
HIP is a fixed March date and most exhibitors come back every year. If that is your case, we design a modular, reusable stand that keeps your brand image consistent and cuts the cost of each edition without giving up a bespoke finish.
On a stand with a kitchen the benefit is double: the technical modules for back-of-house, bar and storage are the most expensive part to resolve and they carry over year to year. We store the structural elements at our facilities and refresh graphics and layout to suit whatever space IFEMA allocates you.

When does HIP 2027 take place?
HIP 2027, Horeca Professional Expo, runs from 1 to 3 March 2027 at IFEMA MADRID, alongside the Hospitality 4.0 Congress. If your stand includes a kitchen or special services, start the design before the previous summer: the service connections have to be requested well in advance.
Can you build a live kitchen on the stand?
Yes, and it is one of the particularities of HIP. We design open kitchens with fume extraction, water supply, drainage and the electrical power your equipment requires, and we handle the service requests and technical documentation with IFEMA. We also position it so smoke and noise do not spoil the meeting area.
What does your HIP stand design and build service include?
It is a turnkey service: design and 3D render, manufacturing at our own workshop, transport to IFEMA Madrid, build and dismantling on site, and support across the three show days. We also handle the venue documentation and the electricity, water and data connections.
Do you design bars and tasting areas?
Yes. We plan the bar, back-of-house and refrigerated storage around the real service flow: where the visitor arrives, where they are served and how your team restocks, so the stand does not seize up at peak times.
Can the stand be reused at the next edition?
Yes. We build demountable structures and technical modules that we store between editions. The following year the graphics are refreshed and the layout reconfigured to suit your space, reusing the bulk of the investment. In an annual show it pays back quickly.
Can you install at IFEMA even though your workshop is in Barcelona?
Yes. We manufacture at our Barcelona workshop and travel to IFEMA Madrid with our own build crew, as we regularly do for shows at the Madrid venue. Transport and coordination with IFEMA are part of the turnkey service.
